What's involved
How long it takes depends on the size of the slab and how much prep it needs — we give you that in writing with the quote.

We look at the slab and check drainage and exposure.

The concrete is ground and prepped, and cracks are repaired.
- 03
The polyaspartic system is applied — with colour flake broadcast into it if you have chosen a flake finish.

We walk the finished slab with you.

Questions
Before you ask
- What is the difference between polyaspartic and epoxy?
- Polyaspartic is UV-stable, so it does not yellow in sunlight, and it cures faster. Epoxy builds thickness economically indoors. Many floors use both — an epoxy base with a polyaspartic top coat — and we spec what fits the slab and its exposure.
- Can you coat an uncovered patio or a driveway?
- Exposure changes what is appropriate, so this is a question to ask us about your specific slab rather than one with a general answer. Both finished exterior jobs in our gallery are covered slabs.
- Will it match the coating in my garage?
- It can. If you want the patio and the garage to read as one surface, tell us at quote stage and we will spec the same flake blend.
